What is Therapy?
Gestalt therapy supports emotional well-being by deepening self-awareness and improving how we relate to others. When we face anxiety, depression, or periods of stuckness, it’s often a sign that our usual ways of coping no longer serve us.
In therapy, I offer a collaborative and compassionate space to explore new ways of being that support growth, connection, and vitality. Together, we slow down and bring curious attention to your present-moment experience—your thoughts, emotions, bodily sensations, and relational patterns. This awareness becomes a foundation for healing.
As we track how you respond to stress, conflict, or vulnerability, we begin to uncover protective strategies that may once have helped you survive but now keep you feeling limited or disconnected.
Through our therapeutic relationship, you’re invited to experiment with new ways of relating—to yourself, others, and the world. Over time, this process can lead to emotional release, greater clarity, and a growing sense of choice.
As we integrate different parts of your experience—including those that have been avoided or split off—new insights and capacities often emerge.
Many people come to therapy feeling like something is wrong with them—shaped by cultural messages that equate struggle with failure. But real change begins when you meet yourself with compassion and honesty.
In our work, we create the conditions for deeper self-trust, greater freedom, and a more grounded, authentic way of living.
